Dear Christi,

I wanted to drop you a note about my experience with you and your kennel.  Before I purchased Stasi, I spoke with several breeders.  I was most impressed with the description you gave me of how you raised your puppies.  I liked the fact that you ran a small operation and were more concerned with the well being of the breed as opposed to churning out mass quantities of dogs.  You also gave me the option of selecting my puppy for myself as opposed to taking a puppy you assigned to me based on a personlity test.

When I came to visit you the first time I found it reassusing that you took so much time with me to show me your breeding females and male.  You let me spend time with both of my puppies' parents and littermates.  You explained to me what you had noticed in their personalities and what type of person you thought they would best fit in with.  I was very happy to see that you raised the puppies indoors around children.  The socialization you did  at an early age made me confident that my puppy would not be shy or aggressive around children.  From my visit, it was evident tha you and your family loved all of your dogs and that was important to me.

When I took Stasi home, she was a joy to train.  She had only a handful of minor accidents in the house and was housetrained within 2 weeks.  I enrolled her in obedience training when she was four months old and continue with her training today.  She began the training with a bit of dominance, but we have worked through that.  She excels in school and it is evident that I need the training more than she does.  She has a tremendous personality and loves being around people and other animals.  While she has neven shown aggression towards anyone, she has a natural protectiveness towards me and other she knows well.

Stasi and I continue to enjoy walks, running together, and the occassional rucksack march with the Army unit I'm assigned to.  Everywhere we go, someone stops us and comments on how beautiful and well behaved she is.

Please feel free to use this letter as a reference and should any prospective owner have questions, please give them my phone number.  I am always willing to talk about Stasi.  I guess I can sum up my satisfaction by saying that when it comes time for Stasi to get a little brother or sister, I will gladly make the 3 hour drive to your location to fill that need.  I have no plans to consider any other breeder.

Dear Christi:

I just received your newsletter and have read it with great interest.  I'm sorry I haven't sent you any pictures of "Sadie" since we brought her home on Halloween weekend. We have the 2nd pick female from your Sept. 10th litter.

She is wonderful!!  The pictures don't do her justice, but they were sort of impromptu!! and keeping her still sometimes is a challenge!  I had her into our vet at 9 months and she weighed in at 75 pounds!!  Quite a big girl we have!!  She is wonderfully proportioned and the vet just has a fit about her.  She is wonderfully friendly.  I have 4 grandchildren who live in town and she just loves to play with them!

It's wonderful to hear about your litters since Sadie.  I would definitely recommend your pups to anyone.  I had someone stop at the store parking lot when I had her out and about-asked where I got her (she was about 4 months then) and said she was beautiful......................

We've been very pleased with our puppy, "Ashley."  She's beautiful, very intellegent, self-confident,.obedient and has good nerves.

She's extremely friendly to everyone and yet very loyal and protective of us.  Her temperment is outstanding.

We are considering purchasing another puppy from Adel Haus German Shepherds because we're so impressed by her bloodline.

Please feel free to contact us at any time.

Sincerely,

We are extremely happy with the female puppy we purchased from you.  As you know we have named her Katie.  She is just over 7 months of age as we write this letter.  She is a very healthy puppy, in large part due to the extremely good care you and her mother provided her in the first 6 weeks of her life.  She now weighs 65 pounds according to our vet's scale.  She is a very energetic and athletic dog and could easily jump a 48 inch verticle wall when she was 5 1/2 months old........She is a very loving animal and readly returns affection.  She also show the traits necessary to become an excellent protector of family and home.  She lives in our home as one of the family and goes everywhere we go.  She displays exceptional coordination, doing things not even thougt of by our last shepherd..........Katie has the  where-with-all to become a great working dog, or great family companion, which she has already become.  We would not hesitate to recommend your puppies to anyone, thanks for a great dog.

Sincerely,

Ah the joys of having a baby-these pictures are already absolete-she's growing!  We are having a ball-almost house trained except when we don't get the message or she has played too hard.  We just got back from 10 days in the mountains-Sadie rides well and has introduced us to numeral dog owners-she is also very sociable-loves kids, thanks to you and your children.  She has changed color-looks like a racoon around the eyes and has lightened up as you had predicted, playful and wired for 220.  We can't believe how fast she has grown in both size and personality.  What a gift!  We will send more pictures.

Take Care,

Dear Christi,

We are the proud parents of Flame, who we call Odessa.  She is now 11 weeks old and a joyous handful.

We wanted to thank you for making the entire process of researching and picking out our German Shepherd such an enjoyable, informative, and non-stressful experience.  As you know, we visited another breeders and came to the realization that it takes time, dedication, and a critical eye to find the real good (reputable) ones.  We first found you through your website, and were impressed with the site itself, as well as, how you explained your process of placing your puppies.  Following our first visit to your home and kennel, our impression of the environment you house your dogs in, the way the dogs are all accustomed to your family and kids, and you and your families friendliness towards us was insurmountable.  It was also apparent to us that you were not interested in producing as many litters as possible, but that your intent was to produce a couple of high quality litters a year.  We had no doubt that you were the one we wanted to purchase our German Shepherd from.  We felt comfortable asking you anything and everything (being first time German Shepherd buyers), and you always offered helpful, important information without our asking.  Your dog's pedigrees are excellent and we never questioned the merit of your dogs.  We just cannot say enough about how easy and pleasurable you made purchasing our first German Shepherd.  You encouraged us to call if we had any questions or concerns, and we really appreciate being able to have that freedom knowing your advice is only a phone call away.  We believe had we purchased our puppy from someone else, we probably would not be writing all of this.

It is obvious how important the well being of your puppies' means to you, and we think that this is noteworthy.  Odessa is the most wonderful addition to our family and we know she will bring great joy to us for a very long time.

If we ever decide to add another German Shepherd to our family, there is no uncertainty in our minds where we will be getting him or her.  Again, thank you Christi-Odessa is absolutely wonderful.  We would positively refer you to anyone who was looking for a German Shepherd.

Sincerely your,
Hillary and Joe

Dear Christi,
As you know, we are very pleased with Sadie Lynn.  A part of the reason for that is your standards for breeding and your caring attitude.  Whe we began our search for a breeder to replace our shepherd of eleven years, we started with our former breeder who is located in Virginia.  Due to an illness, she has been out of breeding for a couple of years.  To us this was devastating since we knew she bred dogs for love not money and was particular with her breeding stock.  Well you have fulfilled all of our expectations.  Your kennel is meticulously clean as were the puppies.  You have spent a great deal of time establishing your blood lines and your success is in the offspring.  Thanks to your caring attitude and concern for the welfare of your puppies, we have a healthy, well adjusted puppy who like kids and people (I think your kids have a lot to do with that as well).  Your love of animals brought us to you.  Phyl and I would be pleased to act as a reference for you-you have earned it!

Sincerely,
Phyl and Jim

Dear Christi,

Happy Holidays!  I hope this finds you and your family well and happy.  It seems like forever since we've touched base.  Aksel is doing great, has a wonderful personality and comes up with little things that entertain us constantly.  (He doesn't know he's a dog, he thinks he's one of us!)  He still has the brightest eyes and can learn anything at the speed of light.  If ever we were to breed him, would you advise us?  We haven't looked into it but would consider if it is associated with you.........  Thanks again for the beautiful pet and wonderful addition to the Miller family.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Calista is a sweetheart now.  Her personality is fully developed and she has settled into being the lady of the house.  She went ski touring with me last weekend and had a blast.  I'm 'trying' to get back into jogging and she likes to run along side of me.  The problem is that after one or two miles, I'm done and she's just getting warmed up at that point.

She's been having a ball doing winter camping a ski touring trips with me this winter.  Last Saturday, a group of four of us went ski touring in Geneva Park and it was so funny watching a grown GSD bounce like a dolphin thru snow deeper than she is.  Everywhere we go, I get compliments about how well mannered she is and what excellent markings she has.  I just wish folks wouldn't assume she is a he because of the breed.

Hi Christi!

Hope all is going well!  Just some more photos of our baby.  She is really growing!  The vet told us that she is going to be such a beautiful dog and her colorings are wonderful.  He also told us that she has such a wonderful temperament, she is really a people lover and not a fearful dog.  We already knew those things though!!

Hanson is doing fine.  He just had his 12 weeks check up.   He is up to 24.2 pounds and as healthy as a horse.  His puppy classes are going great.  At his last class all he wanted to do was put his nose to the ground and track everything.  He didn't even pay attention to the rest of the puppy's.  Krystal and him sure have bonded well.   You definitly know who he'll side with.  Everyday he is waiting by the door for her to get home from work.  Will be ordering a few of the Leerburg Videos soon.  Are there any you recommend over the others?

Hi Christi,

I just wanted to send some more pictures and give you an update on Hero, he is doing great!

He still has a very friendly personality with people and other dogs, and is happy, playful, and confident.  He gets compliments on how cute and friendly he is wherever he goes, and now most people think he is a black lab instead of a German Shepherd.  One of his ears is totally up and the other one flops around most of the time.  I think the last pictures I sent were around 12 weeks, and he has grown quite a bit.  I don't even realize how fast he has grown until I look at the older pictures.  I have pictures from pretty much every week, but some of them did not turn out as well.

His obedience training is going really well.  Vince, at American School of Dog Training said that he seems very intelligent and was asking last class if I had considered competing in obedience with him.  I think he was impressed with how fast Hero will do the commands, which I think is directly related to the fact that there is food involved  :)  Eating is still one of his favorite things.

Oh, I saw that he made the front page of your site!

Thanks again for the great puppy!

Hi Christi!

How are you?  I just wanted to give you an udate on Sierra (Ivy vom Adel Haus)....she's growing into a tremendous dog.  SHe is sooo smart.  She's such fun to have in our family.....

As I work with Sierra she displays a unique concentration on the activity we are doing.  Such focus is almost chilling.  Perhaps I need to develop this drive.  Yesterday, as I was batting balls for her, she lost sight of where the ball went (we play until it is almost too dark to see) so she started tracking for it.  She didn't give up until she found the ball.  I suppose it took her 2 minutes but it was fascinating to watch her determination.......

I've told anyone who asks about your kennel.  Many people stop in their cars as we're walking to find out about this beautiful dog....  Thanks for a superior puppy!!

Hi Christi

Sounds like you are doing good, still breeding wonderful dogs.  I thought I should tell you how Sheba is doing.  We moved from Denver to Erie, CO in September 2001.  Todd is still working for the Denver Police Department and doing good.....I just wanted to let you know Sheba is the best dog ever!  She is one of the family and Lauren calls her, her sister....  Sheba just loves running around and playing....  She is like my second kid!  We still think about how lucky we were to find you to buy a dog from .  I'm sure you make a lot of families happy with your great German Shepherds....  She is such a beautiful dog!

Dear Christina

Thank you for choosing my dog, Zeus (Intel vom Adel Haus) or me.  He's the best dog in the whole world.  He loves me and also he takes up the whole couch!

When Zeus was stolen, I was so, so, so sad.  Thank you for trying to help me find him.  My dog is fun and we play a lot.  I just love him so much!  He makes me happy  :)

Well, Thank you again for my dog, Zeus.

Hi Christi,

I wanted to tell you grateful I am to you.  Because of you and your kennel, I have a wonderful friend and family member.

Before I found Adel Haus on the internet, I had been researching German Shepherds for over 2 yeras trying to educate myself on not only the breed, but how to find a dog with the qualities I wanted.  I visited with a kennel recommended to me by GSDCA during this time......The lady was incredibly demeaning and I was treated with disdain. ....

Then I found Adel Haus.

I read your entire web page that day and called you.  You were very kind while answering my many questions.  When I visited your kennel I was very impressed with how clean they were.  You let us meet all of your dosg.  They were all very friendly and great with my son.  It's probably a good thing I met them before you showed me the video's of their protection work on the Schutzhund field.  It took my breath away to think that twenty minutes before these powerful animals were giving my seven-year old a kiss.  I knew then that I wanted one of your puppies.

I waited very patiently for my next family member to be born.  I finally got to meet her when she was 4 weeks old.  I wanted a dog that I could train for Schutzhund, but would tolerate my being totally inexperienced.  Foremost, I needed a dog that would be completely trustworthy around peope.  You let me have the final decision, but helped me choose which of the 12 delightful puppies would match what I wanted.  Liberty does.

Liberty has been a pleasure ever since.  My veterinarian is very impressed wiht her. He said she is one of the calmest puppies he has seen.  He also comments a lot about how healthy and beautiful she is...

I always get stopped while on walks with what what a gorgeous dog she is.  The neighborhood kids come over to play in the yard with her.  She is extremely gentle with the 2 year old, and loves to play soccer with the older kids.  She learns everything so quickly that sometimes I think she's waiting on me to catch up with her.  Her prey drive is phenominal.  Anything that even thinks about moving is fair game.

I am very fortunate because of you.

Sincerely,
Heather

Dear Christi,

We are still training with Carl Reif, since he was 8 weeks old.  Kato is unbelieveable; he makes a LOT of dogs look bad.  He is a clown and is very easy with my daughter.  Everyone loves his color.  He is a smart dog and has NO fears....  He is what I have always wanted and so far, he is living up to his parents status.  I hope to get him there and beyond.  I am happy that I found you; I have a lot of love for your kennel.

Dear Christi,

I did a great deal of research for a professional GSD kennel before fortunately finding your website.  After exploring  your site, I immediately wanted more information about Adel Haus and your facility,  Communicating with you via e-mail and phone conversations, you answered all my questions and allayed any concerns I had.  You are very knowledgeable and care a great deal about the welfare of your dogs and aren't in the "business" for the commercial aspect.  I very much appreciate that fact and am so pleased that I was ablw to visit your facility and see the adults dogs and puppies in their clean, well-rounded environment.

My GSD, Vajra (aka...Lane vom Adel Haus) is now, at 6 months, a beautiful red sable with deep golden/brown eyes.  She has such drive and energy she would be able to train in any field offered to her breed.  She is extremely intelligent which makes her a quick learner.  We have so much fun training with Dick Gasaway (of New Attitude Dog Training) and he has really helped me to understand Vajra and become a better owner/friend to her.  I will be focusing on Personal Protection Dog training and can already see Vajra will be a terrific candidate since she is very aware of her surroundings.  Believe it or not, she sleeps right by my bedside all night (and sometimes on the bed, but only when asked).  She is my constant companion and I look forward to developing our bond even further.

Thanks again for all your help and for being such a responsible GSD breeder.

All the best,
Roxanne

I was looking for a constant companion and I found one in Luscious.  Christi did a fantastic job of matching me up with this German Shepherd.  He stays by my side both day and night.  Constantly, he keeps me within his sight and let's me know if anything is out of the ordinary.  We always get compliments on what a beauiful dog he is.  Our veterinarian raved about his conformation and great temperament.  Although very protective, he is not aggressive but makes sure that I am aware of any approaching problems when we are on a walk.  Luscious seems to be a natural tracker.  There is a large park by where we live and he can follow a trail exactly where I walked through the part earlier that day.  Luscious has truly been a godsend and the whole family enjoys him.  In a few years, we may get another Shepherd, and we'll happily make the tip to Julesburg!

Regards,
Dean

Hello Christi-

Please find enclosed 2 pictures of Micah at one year of age.

She is just a member of our family and a great companion.  She is with us all the time.  Her great delight is her ball menagerie (shehas several) and has 2-3 play times a day with them.

She always brings in the paper, carries laundry to the basement laundry room and will soon be bringing in the mail by virtue of a basket.

She knows the rooms of the house and at night, if we stay up too late - I'll tell her to go on to bed and she'll go up to our bedroom where she too sleeps!

In general, she is a wonderful family member!

Thank you for raising her!

Sincerely,

Hi Christi-

Olympia (now Shiva) is such a joy!  We love her much!  She is with me most of the day at work, where she can sleep or she can take me out for a little break and some play.  At home, our older dog has gotten quite attached to her (as has Shiva of our older dog!)  Playing rough housing well together (though sometimes the older one likes to pull rank with a bit too much force for me.  Shiva just shakes it off and gets back in the fray.)

I am so impressed in how attentive Shiva is, and how quickly she takes on new behaviors.  WOW!  I was telling my office neighbor today just how delightful a dog she is.  She wildly exceeds our expectations.  More than that she is also such a nice balance between being close and affectionate and being comfortable with herself.

I have been reading a number of books on raising dogs, but the one Mark recommended (and the hardest to get), Purely Positive Training, is so profoundly effective.  Shiva responds so well to the techniques there.  It is even having a positive impact on our other dog as well.  Good stuff!

And, thanks again, Christi,

Dan

I just weighed Luke....85 pounds and he is slim!!  He has been such a lover and has taken on the "dog" responsibilty since Rainbow has gone.  I know he misses her, but he is up to the task.  We started playing the "find" and 'hide and seek' games as a preparation for search and rescue.  He somehow instictively knows exactly what the rules of the game are.  When he finds what he is looking for, his tail wags with such happiness.  So smart...  Luke is everything a German Shepherd is supposed to be!!!

Be well,
Lynn

Hello Christi

Just thought to let you know that Maverick is doing well!  He is doing well in his obedience classes, and the lady that is instructing us knows German Shepherds well, and trains them also.  She has two of her own.  She just loves Maverick.  This last obedience class we had there were 3 German Shepherds, as well as Maverick - BUT, Maverick was the BEST looking one there!  The other 3 were also sables.  Everyone was asking me, where Maverick had come from.  Just last night we had another admirer.  I could go on and on...

Hope all is well with all your dogs!!!  Maverick is so much a part of our life now!  Thanks Christi!!!!

Thanks!

Christi,

I want you to know how absolutely thrilled we are with Thor.  Debbie has quickly fallen in love with him and he amazes us every day.  MOst of the time the amazement is positive.  He has beautiful coloring and symmetry and is developing a nice temperament.  He is incredibly intelligent......

Debbie sometimes calls him "the senator" becaue he behaves like and angel in public and more like a spoiled prince at home.

Thanks for all your help and for matching us with such a wonderful puppy......

Christi,

Hello!  I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that Quartz (now named Tucker after the mountain at Copper) is doing great.  His adult coat has grown in and he is a truly beautiful dog.  He’s growing up so fast, and with a few days to go before he turns six months old, he weighs almost 60 lbs.  Tucker’s also the most well behaved dog I’ve ever seen; what a wonderful personality!  He’s great at home, and is so calm (even as a puppy) that I bring him into work with me!  He’s very good with kids.  When they come in to our office he lets them pet him, even rolling on his back so they can get to his belly.  Tucker is also very well behaved around other dogs.  I don’t think that he has ever met a dog he hasn’t liked, and though he is very alert around dogs that are overly aggressive or seem dangerous, he is never acts frightened or very aggressive himself.  It is nice to walk through town on even the most crowded day and know that, regardless of what we encounter, Tucker will stick by my side and react appropriately to any situation.

Though calm and mellow in the right situations, Tucker’s also a great companion outside of home and work.  This is an accomplishment considering my active lifestyle.  I take him with me nearly everywhere I go.  He has plenty of energy and drive for any activity or task.  Usually, I will get tired (mentally and physically) way before he does.  I think that he would play (or work) 24 hours a day if he could!  Once you get him going, he doesn’t want to stop.  He especially likes to kick the soccer ball around with his front paws, it’s like he thinks that he’s Pele!

I tell almost everyone that meets Tucker about the wonderful dogs and family behind Adel Haus.  I am sure that superb breeding contributed many of Tucker’s wonderful characteristics.  Thank you for those!  However, without the socialization and training you provided him during those first critical months I doubt that he would be the nearly perfect dog he is today!  I have pictures that I will be mailing soon so you can see what a great looking dog Quartz/Tucker has become.  Please give anyone in the area, that would like to see one of your dog’s offspring, my number so they can come and meet Tucker!

I hope that everything is going well and wish you, and all the Adel Haus dogs, the best of luck in the future!  Next time I’m passing through Julesburg, I’ll be sure to stop by and say hello.

Thank you again,

Greg

Hello Everyone!

She (Quanna) is turning out to be the world's
most AWESOME dog.  She has graduated puppy class and
is on to beginning obediance in September.  She is
100% potty trained!! (BIG YEAH)
These are pictures I took from a hike yesterday - her
first hike!  Kurt and Ryan did the whole 7 miles, but
Xena and I just did a couple - I didn't want her to
over do it - it was REALLY hot!  I kept pouring water
on her head, which I'm not sure she was too wild
about!  But we had lots of fun waiting for the guys to
get back!  Xena would make an excellent Search &
Rescue Dog, wish I had the time to do that with her.
She is completely fearless - she will and does climb
over and on everything - she loved these boulders on
the Devil's backbone, I had to hold her back from
jumping off the other side!!!  Despite a rough start
with many biting issues, she's growing into quite a
gal - she's completely won over Ryan (hehe).  I can't
believe the compliments we get on her - and Christi, I
am always pleased to tell people where we got her!
Thanks for letting me boast everyone!!  Hope you all
enjoy the pictures.

Hello Christi,

I wanted to take a minute to write and thank you for the wonderful gift of Enzo
(VP-  Remington vom Adel Haus).  My search for the perfect GSD was close to 2 years in the making and many a websites were surfed and phone calls were made.  I saw your name a bunch of times on different GSD websites and could not find a link, so I did a search and found you right away.

You were so great to work with and really took the time to ensure I was getting the correct dog for my needs.  Your website is so informative and helpful that many of my questions were answered there as well as in the million emails I sent you.

The day we drove to Julesburg to look at Enzo I was so excited and once I laid eyes on him I knew we had a great match.  Enzo has been such a dynamic dog for us.  He is doing awesome in training class and has mastered all the commands for obedience.  He is so good at it he can change his style to allow my wife to work him as well.  He is great around the baby and loves to chase the cat.  I don’t think the cat enjoys the chase, but I sure love to see them play.  I have seen many new GSD puppies from all different breeders and am excited to say that Enzo is bigger, broader, smarter, more well mannered and most of all perfect in his coloring and gait.  It’s funny to watch Enzo at our local dog parks because he almost gets frustrated being around all the untrained and crazy dogs.  He is very much into Dad and Mom.  Here is what makes Enzo the top dog:  We never trained him to do this, but when he walks with us and the baby, he will not heel to my left but moves up to the left of the stroller and walks next to the stroller ONLY.  When the baby cries he barks and runs to us to let us know she is crying or awake.  I can’t wait to see my Daughter Kate grow up with Enzo.  Thank you for allowing Enzo to be around your family so much.  You are right, the socializing is something that no one can put a price on.

I am looking forward to starting protection training with Enzo down the road and know he will be great at it.  You truly do produce awesome Dogs and I am grateful to have met you and had the chance to purchase a GSD from you.  Please be sure to thank Mark for all his question answering as well.

Again, thanks for a great dog.  I look forward to some reunions down the road.

P.S.  I have seen both Rocco and Rikkor and they are doing well.  We are planning a dog date for Enzo and Rocco soon as the owners live close to us.

Thanks a Million.

Hi Christi,

Just wanted to give you an update on River vom Adel Haus.
He is settling in nicely and doing well.  Animal interaction is going well
with our other pets and his crate training has been a breeze.  He has an
absolute passion for twigs and bark and since the backyard has decorative
rocks and bark in various places I'm getting my exercise. LOL "Here
Puppy, puppy" was easy to train and he is also doing astonishingly well on
attention exercises.  Gotta love that food drive:-).  Now, so long as a
retrieve drive kicks in and I can exercise him, all will be well.
I'm excited to tell you that he is signed up for a 2 year research program
on puppy temperament.  He will have 6 temp. tests over a 2 year period and
be one of the 200 puppies that the results are based on.  The evaluation is
to determine the relationship between the temperaments of puppies at
different ages and to analyze how they mature .  He had his first test today
and passed with flying colors.....

Thanks for letting me have such a fine dog, Christi.  He is a true champion
in spirit.

Hi Christi,
Last week was Cairo's herding instinct test.  I'm thrilled and proud to
announce that he aced it!!!  He showed strong sustained interest, took
corrections well, responded to pressure and even faced down a recalcitrant
sheep!  You literally couldn't ask for more.

The test was done using 4 sheep.  After he had worked on gathers and wearing
for awhile he took a moment to go to the enclosure that held about 20 more
sheep and to plainly ask for more!  It was sooo cute :-)

Christi, he's a wonderful little boy.  Thank you for bringing Xinti from
Germany and for letting us have him.

On a little side note, more than one herding "expert" cautioned me to NOT
get a puppy from Schutzhund titled lines because all they would do was
savage the sheep.  These folks felt that the local American bred AKC show
GSD's would hold more promise.  I ignored them and persevered because I
believe that Germany has maintained the quality of the breed I love.  Now
that Cairo has born out his breeding,  I am thoroughly enjoying showing them
what a quality bred West German GSD can do.  Without fail, everyone that is
around him praises his temperament and training.  From running a Rally
course at three months of age to handling well on sheep at 7 months, he has
proved, and will continue to prove, the benefits of the German breeding
system and the excellence of those that follow it.

Cairo has much to learn, and needs to mature, before I'll start his formal
herding lessons.  But look for your kennel name on the premium books in
about a year and half.  In the meantime, formal Rally lessons start in
January and we may do beginners Agility in the spring to help us round out
his learning.

Are there any other dogs from your kennel doing herding?  Large flock
herding (tending) is not done for sport in this region of the US, but it
wouldn't surprise me if other pups from your kennel were excelling in it or
the Border collie style that I tested Cairo on.

I hope the holidays are joyous and your family is well.

Hi Christi,

I just want to give you an update and some pictures of Diesel
(Ramses von Adel Haus - son of V1-Indo von der Bildeiche and V-Xinti von der
Bildeiche).  He is doing great and such a wonderful addition to our family.
He already finished all levels of obedience and is currently in weekly
agility classes.  My trainer gave him some kind of test and said he is one
of the "most solid" dogs he has ever seen".  He gets compliments wherever we
go.  At first people are intimated by his size, but once they meet him, they
realize how sweet he is. He's awesome.... I don't know what I'd do without
him. Thanks again. Take care.

Hi Christi,

Even though he is nearly 5 months old now, I have some pictures of him at 4 months that you might enjoy.  When I took him to the vet at 4 months for his final Distemper/Parvo and Rabies shots he weighed in at 43 pounds.  He has been gaining 2-3 pounds per week, so I'm sure he must be 50 lbs by now.
Shadow is a really good dog and extremely smart.  He is 100% house broken and now has free roam of the house.  (Too bad he is not 100% house plant broken.)  He is also quite the chow hound - a meal last about 10 seconds.  When I feed him, he dives head first into the trash can that I keep the food in for a pre-dinner snack.
I have been laying double tracks about 40 feet long that I bait every 2-3 feet.  He loves the game and I have never seen him wander more than one foot off course.  I also made a puppy tug about 2 feet long that has a 3' rope attached to one end.  He loves chasing and catching his "toy."  When he catches it, he is very proud and calmly holds it firmly in his mouth.  I can run him 50 yards off the playground and he will not let go of his tug.
I have learned that it is difficult photographing a black dog.  Some pictures are better than others, but I think you will agree that he is a handsome pup.
Thanks, John

Hi Christi-

Hannah's training is going well, or should I say my training.  It is always more the human.  She has some incredible drive.  When she wants to bite and tug she just doesn't give up with me.  But she really is a good dog.  We are just in the puppy phase.  The club in north Denver has been great so far.  We have lots of puppies.  Most all of us believe in socializing our dogs with other people and other animals.  I like that.  You should come if you have a chance.  It is 9-12 on Sunday mornings.  We do obedience first and then the bite work.  Tracking seems to be separate.  One day we did it before the regular time in a big field in Broomfield.

Keep me posted.

I have an incredible dog by the name of River vom
Adel Haus. I bought him as a puppy from the Adel
Haus kennel. He has a steady temperment, a
beautiful body, and a willing, biddable
personality.  He is just beginning his
performance career and all indications are that
he will have an exceptional future.

A breeder Should be judged by their dogs.  This
dog is exceptional and I believe that the
breeding/breeder has been exceptional too.

Prior to buying this puppy, I researched
Colorado breeders for almost two years.  This was
the only one I found that fit the bill.  I
contacted 9 people that owned dogs from this
kennel.  These people were ones that I researched
myself, I didn't ask for references from Adel
Haus.  Without exception they had positive things
to say about the dogs and the kennel.  I bought
my puppy about 1 1/2 years ago, and since then I
have met other folks that were recent purchasers
from this kennel.  They too are very happy with
their dogs.

Dear Christi

I want to thank you for our Argon.  Thank you for a
loyal, beautiful, honorable, dignified, intelligent,
affectionate creature.  I could have added more words
to his description and filled this entire space.
I am at home because of a disability, and Argon has
proven all that I suspected he would be, even before
he was born.  From your description of his parents, I
knew this was the kind of dog he was going to be.  No
I take it back.  He is BETTER than I thought he would
be.

And I know it's all due to your intelligent breeding
of your awesome dogs!  Had it not been for YOU, Argon
and those like him under your care, would not be.

So thank you again Christi, Argon has changed our
lives already, Kevin absolutely LOVES HIM, even my
cats love him, our Lab Jake loves him.  I know for
years to come, he will continue to make a huge impact
on our lives.

Thank you and keep up the good work, dearest Christi.

My love and greetings to your family (humans and
dogs!!).

With best wishes

Hi Christi,

I thought you might like to know that we are so happy to have Amir in our family.  He is such a "Dream Boat."  He is very healthy and sooo snuggly.  Plus, he is a very good boy.

Laila (our Siberian Huskey) and Amir are getting along just fine.  They love to play with each.

I thought that you might like to see some pictures of him.

I hope all is well with you......

Thank you,

Christi,

I was looking on the website and noticed a repeat breeding of Half and Maya.  I just wanted to write a few lines about the Half I have.

Half (vom Adel Haus), call name Xane has brought so much enjoyment and happiness to my life.  He is the dog I wanted when I came to you looking for a new companion.  It is almost like you placed all my requirements into a computer and Xane is what printed out.  He is everything I wanted in a German Shepherd.  He is so full of drive and life, he truly does enjoy our time together as much as I do. He is so quick to learn, having a tremendous drive for food and the 'toy'.  Xane's endurance is also incredible, he will continue to do whatever is asked of him until you have completed, not stopping.  He puts his full effort towards the task. He is very willing to learn.

Although I am not able to do the Schutzhund work I wanted to with him, due to other commitments on my part, it is no doubt that he would be a top performer when he has matured more.

I will attach a photo of him around 6 months old.

Dear Christi,

We wanted to send you a picture of our Galahad.  He is
just the most beautiful of German Shephards.  We love him
so much and as you can see, he is a happy, beautiful
and very smart dog.  We are so very pleased with him.
We had to put down our very beloved Fritz a week ago
and we are very sad about that.  Our "Rex"  (aka..Galahad) is
a very big puppy.  At eight months old, he is 69 pounds
and is going to be just the perfect large size.
We hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas
and a very Happy New Year.

Hi, Christi--

He's (Nolte) wonderful!!  I don't remember having a pup that's so relaxed with handling.  He actually seems to enjoy my rubbing his body back and forth all over, playing with his toes, stroking his muzzle and his legs, looking in his ears, opening his mouth, and just cuddling.  He wasn't too happy about the brush but when I switched to comb, click, treat he's doing ok and he's even let me clip all of his toenails that way (clip-click-treat, clip-click-treat...).  (We're both trying to learn this clicker thing together.)  And he's such a gentleman in the mornings before I get up...he sleeps in a crate beside my bed and I can hear him quietly gnawing on a sterilized bone before I tell him it's time to rise and shine. ....

Hi Christi,

Well we finally got our little guy this evening.  I heard that you had to leave at 5AM to get him to the airport yesterday morning.  I thank you sooo much!!!!  He’s just beautiful and after having small dogs for the last 6 years, my husband is in heaven!!!!!!  We picked him up from Dulles airport about 8:30 and he was in great shape.....

Thanks a lot!

Christi,

I gave Ora a bath this morning and plopped her on my
sleeping wife. :-) Ora felt right at home on the bed
and in fact fell right asleep when my wife cuddled
her. As you can see we've acclimated her with our
other pets as early as possible too.

Kids played with her all day so she's sleeping like a
rock right now.

She is definitely beautiful!

Thanks for taking care of her for us.

Christi,

Quintus is doing awesome.  He is one adventureous little puppy.   He seems
to be adjusting to his new environment without a hitch.  He will go potty on
command now.  I can say to him...."go potty" and he will stop playing and go
pee, even if its only a tiny little bit.   I am amazed at how fast he
learns.   On the way home from Julesburg we got caught in a snow storm on
I-80.  So instead of the 8 hour drive home, it took us over 18 hours to make
it back to Salt Lake City,  I think we arrived home just before 5 a.m.
Quintus slept at my feet, under the pedals most of the way.  I dont know why
I even have a leash for him, he stays at my side or under my feet everywhere
we go.

One unexpected thing about having Quintus is all the attention he gets from
strangers.  Without exception, every place I have taken him people stop what
they are doing and come and pat him and oogle and oogle over what a
beautiful GSD puppy he is and he always welcomes the attention, he is not
shy at all.

Our first visit to the vet is tomorrow for a "get to know" session with the
vet and Quintus.  He starts a begining puppy class soon.  Other than that,
he is eating and sleeping very well and generally seems to be a typical
puppy, lots of energy and though a lot of work, a total joy to have around.
Thanks for such an awesome dog.  I will send you pictures in the next day or
two.

Hey!

Rhythm is doing great~

....She is very bonded to me, and is a very
cuddly puppy- she plays hard with toys and the other
dogs, but then she wants to sleep ON me- draped over
my feet, curled against my leg, draped over my lap, or
as close as she can possibly get to me. If she can't
get to me, she snuggles with my shoes :)......

I love my puppy.....!

Christi,

Thought I would drop you a note and tell you how Raven is doing.
Raven has grown into the most beautiful dog I've ever seen!
She has everything you could ever want in a dog.  Lovable,
fun to play with, protective when she needs to be, easy to train,
just a well tempered dog all around.  You sure did make a good litter
of puppies. We are so happy with her.  Sheba loves to play and chase each
other for hours at a time.  Having Raven really got Sheba into
shape fast.  She looks great!  I think they have become so close.
I'm so lucky to have two wonderful dogs.  Thanks so much again!
We will always look for you to buy a German Shepherd from as long
as you keep breeding them. .  They love to go to the mountains,
and for rides just about any where.  Best dogs in the world!

Hi Christi!!

Wanted to drop an email and say hi. It's been awhile since we've talked and I'm not sure if I sent you any of these pictures or not. Jana is absolutely amazing! Everyone I meet, everywhere, says how beautiful she is. She is so intelligent and self-assured. Everything I've read or seen about the GSD and german lines are evident in everything she does, or doesnt do. She has no fear, such loyalty, an amazing drive and desire to please...just awesome.

My mother was very afraid of dogs, especially Shepherds, since childhood and was weary when I got Jana. My 1st X-mas home from Colorado, when Jana was around 7 months, that began to change almost immediately. In fact, she has fallen in love with the breed so much....

Thank you again, and always, for working with me from the very beginning.  By the way, I just purchased a little land and it looks like the time may be coming soon to add to my own little family!  Without a doubt, when that time comes, I'll be contacting you!

Eric

Hi Christi

I just wanted to write to you and let you know how happy we are with our 'Hunter'.  He is an absolutely incredible dog with such beauty and brains!  We are training to become an offical Search & Rescue Dog.  Our team members are always telling us how lucky we are to have such an easy dog to work and get along with.  Hunter absolutely loves his 'job' and puts everything in to it.  He knows when it is time to work and when it is time to be our family dog.  We hope to acheive our certification in Fall 2006.

We are so fortunate to have found you and your German Shepherd program.  After a lot of research on other breeders, we were beginning to get disappointed.  Many breeders weren't involved with their dogs like you are, and many really didn't know anything but how to put on a good sales pitch.  We appreciate your honesty and of course, we appreciate your 'knowing' your dogs and puppies through your extensive involvement and experience with them.  You were exactly right when you helped us chose Hunter.  He is everything you said he would be and so much more!!!

Thank you, and please, keep up the good work!

......In between puppy naps (which seem to be getting shorter, by the way) and play, we're working on imprinting tracking and obedience (recall, sit, and down).  She's really doing well with both -- seems to like "working," if you want to call it that -- it's all stress and pressure free.  Yesterday I took her near the dog park not far from our home and worked on recall a little, just to reinforce her attention on me and not those dogs over there playing around! Bob's really knowledgeable about obedience training, but I'm going to enroll her in puppy obedience classes to get her around other dogs in a controlled environment.  I've found a teacher not far from here who trained with the man who worked with Bob and Kap in their Schutzhund days. House breaking is going well.  She still wakes me up once at night, but she's starting to go to the door now during the day when she needs out -- it's not just me watching and deciding when she needs to go.

I think you've both done a terrific job with your dogs, and I admire your enthusiasm and stamina!  I promise to send pictures soon!  (I said that before, I know -- whenever I think I've got a free minute to fool around with the pictures, something else comes up!)

Thanks again!

Christi,
River is doing great!!  The first day at the house he went up a flight of stairs with no assistance!!  He is now a whopping 23 pounds.  Our Vet said he was good to go, he is updated on all shots, and has started his first Sentinel dose this month.  He's eating well three times a day.  We have him on Pro Plan Large Breed puppy formula.  He also like to dip into Kaiya's Ryal Chein food, very funny.  Kaiya and him have been getting along great.  Actually she has done more training with him then we have had to.  When she goes to the bathroom in the backyard, he follows her, so thanks to her he's already housebroken.  Also when I give her praise and a treat when they come in, I tell her to sit, and now he sits too!!!  Gotta love it.  He starts his obedience training in three weeks, after his next set of shots.  He is beautiful, and has fit in well with the family, thank you so much.  I'll enclose a few pictures of him and Kaiya.

OUR puppy...  she is wonderful :).  she's such a smart little thing!  she knows "sit", "come", "go pee", "drop it" and is learning "leave it".  she's getting much better at being housebroken.  she's protective.  she barks at people who come to our house, but after we let her know it's ok, she is friendly to them.  she loves all of the neighbor dogs and plays with them often (a little white dog, golden retriever, HUGE german shepherd, very old golden retriever, and a labradoodle).  she also plays with a couple dogs that come for regular walks around here (she loves to play with the jack russell that comes by twice a day).  she loves to chase the rabbits and birds in our yard, and still chases the neighbor's cat even though we're trying to break her of that.  she loves to play fetch with her ball, "bury" her toys in her rug, chase and chomp everything that moves, and she loves being groomed (except when she decides to attack the brushes instead).

she still tries to jump into the bath tub if she's around when someone is taking a bath.  she did jump right in once, but since then we've managed to keep her from actually getting in.  now, for the most part, she'll lie next to the tab and peek at you every now and then.  she goes for a car ride at least once a day.  she's really good about getting in and out of the van.  she's also very well-behaved with people outside the house, and she's generally not a jumpy puppy.  she loves to play, still hasn't figured out that biting HURTS, and is just a joy to be around. ....

i'm attaching a couple of pix from yesterday when she was playing in the sprinkler water.  she would run and attack it, then race around the yard, roll in the dirt and dead grass, then do it all again.  she had a ball until i hosed her off.  she wasn't happy about all that cold water, but forgave me when i dried her off and brushed her.

well, that's about it for now, but i just have to say that we LOVE our Bella and are SO happy to have her.

thanks so much!

Christi,

....Quintus in easily the most fearless dog I have ever owned, he confronts any new challenge with enthusiasm.  He is a natural protector of our home, even as a puppy he will sit out on the porch and keep a watchful eye on whats going on around the neighborhood.  I could go on forever about what a smart puppy he is.  He constantly amazes me.  He picks up commands lighting fast.  He can be a real goof ball too, sometimes when I'm trying to teach him a new command he will go through all the commands he knows one after another trying to guess which one will get him the treat.  I just sit there and watch him go from sit, to down, to shake, to roll over, to belly rub, to kisses, to speak....he might even do "give me five" and then after all that, he will sit there with his tongue hanging out the side with a look on his face like...."I wonder if that will get me string cheese"  Its pretty funny, we get a kick out of it.

I have taken up enough of your time.  Thanks for such a great animal.  A true joy to have as part of our family.

Just wanted to give update on Jester (Weiss) vom Adel Haus.  Completed
basic obedience last week. will of course continue on with training.  He
responds well.  he will be 10 mos May 27.  Healthy and still intact.
will probably have him neutered in July after we return from vacation.
He's a beautiful dog.  becoming fairly large already.   He has a great
personality, everybody loves him.  people tell me that he is the nicest
looking german shepherd that they have seen, and he is only a young dog
still.  We love him.  Wope all is well.

Christi,

I'm proud to announce that Cairo has earned another title, the United Kennel Club CD.  He placed on all three legs and wrapped up the competition last Sunday with first place and a score of 191.  He sure is a super dog to train and trial.

Next year the AKC GSDCA Nationals will be in Colorado.  You can bet that we will be entered, probably in two different sports.

Take care and have a great summer,

(Mirage) aka.. Mia  is doing great!!  she has settled into our lifestyle very well.  She has met Joe's girls and the oldest just loves her.  She is starting to find her "voice"....barking at suspicious activity when we are out on the deck.    I take her jogging with me on nearly a daily basis and she loves that.  Last night I was able to go out after dark for the first time ever because I had her with me.   She was VERY alert and aware of everything that was going on around us.  I felt very safe.  She is quite a goof ball, too.  I can tell how much energy she has and how long our jogs should be based on how many steps she propels herself off of before hitting the bottom of the stair case.  If she flies down 1/2 the way without touching...ya, we need to run a little....   She swam for the first time (I think...unless you've had her in water)......she was a pro immediately......

.....She is a very very good dog, as you promised.  The guy who owned the place we went to last weekend absolutely fell in love with her......

Thank you very much for allowing us the opportunity to make "Utah"part of

looking for in dog as well as the numerous inquisitive phone calls.  We were
both very impressed with Xaveria and Quax and the facilities that you have
are the nicest I have seen.  Utah is a gorgeous puppy with an outstanding

Hi Christi,

Sorry it's been a while since I've communicated.....  I've been really busy this year and had not enough time to write to you about Ora. Consider this then to be my yearly update :-).

We've nicknamed her Queenie because that is the name of "Daddy's" and "GrandPa's" german shepherds. She is an inside-house dog and sleeps pretty much on any bed or couch in the house she wants to. We try and take her out with us for dinner at least once a week. She jogs 5 miles with me a couple of times a week. She has already been as far out as Florida and South Carolina as the attached beach pictures show. In my opinion, she has great character: quiet and well behaved,  fierce when she needs to be, always very considerate of family members (she always waits for and shepherds the kids when they fall behind). My wife and I are very proud of her and we enjoy her company everyday. Needless to say she is very much a part of our family.

I haven't decided yet if we are going to breed her and have not figured out what it will take commitment-wise to do so . I am assuming that we will at least need to show her to get her a V title which also imples getting her her Schutzhund title first......

Thanks again for breeding her for us.

I hope things are going well in Colorado! Rhythm is a happy, happy dog.  I am trying to make a webpage with her photos so you can see more of her pictures...
I'll let you know the address when it is done, and you can feel free to download and use any of the pictures if you like.  In the meantime, I thought I'd send you a few by email.

Rhee is a very loving, very needy dog -  she can't get enough of human attention, and she loves just about everyone.  she plays nice with other dogs and the horses. She can be strong willed and thinks her ideas are much cooler than mine, but in general she is very obedient (we keep treats handy in every room of the house to reinforce).  The only time she has actually disobeyed a command that she knows was when a very young fawn got trapped in the pasture, and Rhythm thought it was open season! She is 10 months old now, and I will soon start taking her with me to walk some trails, etc, as she is close to her final frame size.  So, enjoy the pics, wish I could send more but the connection is very slow! I'll go in to
town where there is high-speed WiFi soon and get more photos up on the internet so you can get a better idea of how she has turned out :)

Take care!

Dear Christi:

Thought you would enjoy an update on our beautiful adopted “Aspen”.  She’s doing great.  Started obedience and protection class; she has a natural drive and really enjoys playing with the burlap.  Ryan (our trainer) is extremely impressed with her, as well as, the other the other people in the class.

I will be sending updated pictures along with a video in the mail so I can show you how well she is progressing and has grown.  She spends everyday with me going to work and is an absolute pleasure to be around.

The other “girls” in the family have not gotten used to her as of yet, but I think when the puppy stage subsides, everybody will learn to tolerate each other.

Hope all is well with you and your family and I will be in touch soon.

Hi, we just wanted to give you an update on Kylie(Unite). She is very happy. She has been spoiled the last month because Dave has been off of work and home with her every day. We have been on many hikes and adventures. The snow has started falling, so work will follow shortly after and she will need to get used to being home with the cat a bit more. She has almost finished puppy school, only two weeks left. This last week she got a very nice compliment from her teacher who said in over twenty years of working with dogs she has one of the nicest temperments of any german shepherd she has ever been around and we were very lucky to get here. We couldn't agree more. She is a better dog than we could ever have hoped for. I have attached a coulpe of pictures. Thanks a lot for a terrific dog.

Hi Christi,

.....She (Elektra) is bonding with our family and we truly enjoy having her here.  She follows me everywhere around the house and loves to go upstairs.  She also sleeps with us in our bedroom.

I am sure this is quite a different environment or what she is used to.  She goes on walks with James during the evening.  She does well around James, Lauren and I.  Lauren just loves her.  James bought her Science Diet food and some treats last night.   What kind of food is she used to eating?  We are used to giving our dogs in the past this because our Vet recommends it.  We had a black male German Shepherd named Alex who passed away last year in October so having Elektra here has made me very happy.

We are taking very good care of her and I am treating her like a princess.  I brush her hair, clean the inside of her ears, and I have clipped her toenails. She has all my attention as well as my daughter Lauren who gives her hugs and kisses since she's been here and enjoys playing with her.  I am a stay at home mom and I don't plan on going back to work until my daughter is in school full-time.

I will keep in touch with you since I would like to know more about Elektra.  We don't plan on changing her name, we like it.  We bought a dog tag with her name on it and our phone number, but it's nice to know that she has a clear tattoo and is microchipped.

Marvelous Marvel is nearly one and totally wonderful!

Had Marvel's hips and elbows x-rayed on Oct 18.  Vet was happy with what he saw but we sent them off to OFA for confirmation. The OFA Preliminary (Consultation) Report came back with "Good Hip Joint Conformation" and elbow joints "negative for elbow dysplasia".  Yeah!!

Also, finally took Marvel's CGC test last week, which he passed with flying colors, mostly.  The only tough one was the dog distraction, which was admittedly marginal; I'm sure if his interest had been mean or fearful, the evaluator would have flunked him, but it was more of a friendly "Hey, wanna play?" sort of interest and he willingly continued on with me so the evaluator remarked on it but let it pass.

Sorry, I've blown the 4-month picture agreement and I don't have any nice pictures of him tracking or rallying (our current training activities), but here are a few from our summer/fall in N. VA...you might call them "Mr. Marvelous goes to Washington".

River is doing great!  His tracking and bite work are going great.  Dwayne his trainer, said he'll easily breeze through his titles.  We are looking at springtime for his BH.  He's an extremely quick biter, and bites hard, so we are happy about that.  Enclosed is a picture.  I'll have more in a few weeks.  Just wanted to drop you a quick note letting you know that he's awesome!!

....Gaby's ears came up just fine -- a little later than I expected -- I think the vet just freaked me out a little one time when she started talking about taping them.  No taping needed, thank goodness.  She carried around 8 canines for a while.  The babies just didn't want to fall out, but they, too, finally cooperated!  We're still working hard on obedience.  We've reached the top level of classes before going on to the advanced class, but I think I'll need to stay here for a while -- She has good focus and attention on her off leash sit and recall, but still needs work on looking at me while heeling.  I've started reinforcing by spitting out bits of bait  -- I'm not a very accomplished spitter (in other worlds that might be something to be proud of!), but I'm working on it.  She really does seem to enjoy training and loves going to class.  I've taken a couple private lessons, that, technique wise, were a lot more instructive and helpful than the group class, but the socialization has been great for her.

She came into heat a couple days ago, and I was just wondering what you knew about when her mom first came into heat or the other females in her litter.  It seems a little early to me, but you know a whole lot more about this than I do.

Gaby is beautifully sociable with people - all ages, but will still do her big-girl barking at anyone coming up the driveway.  My Mom lives in an assisted living home, and I take her there with me often.  These old folks just fawn over her.  She's good with other dogs, but she will get her hair up initially and bark when she happens upon one she hasn't seen before.  Bob thinks she'll outgrow that, but, just in case, I'm always looking for places where other, strange-to-her dogs might be so we can work through it.

She's a beautiful dog and such a pleasure. .....

...Went to training Sun. He finally decided the crate wasn't so bad. He strutted his stuff. Everybody thinks he is awesome. Barked at the helper because he was flicking the whip around just out of reach. I just love him!

Hello Chrisi ~

I have been meaning to e-mail you.  Our puppy, Hannah, has started obedience training.  She is doing wonderful and the man that is doing the actually training, thinks she is terrific.  (The training is for both Hannah and myself.)  He may be contacting you soon about looking for a full brother to Hannah.  That is how highly he thinks of her.  She is a wonderful puppy and catches on to things very quickly.  Couldn't have asked for a better family friend.  The kids love her as much as she loves them.

We will try to get some photos of her soon and I will e-mail them to you.

Best regards & Merry Christmas!!!!

Hello Christie,

Summer is adjusting well, we are having a lot of fun with her.  She is
adjusting well and almost 100% potty trained.  She can
sit and down and we are working on stay :)

She has been to the vet and they think she is
beautiful.....

We will probably be taking her to training classes for
behavior training starting next month once we get that
down we are hoping to start some agility training for
socialization and exercise.

We are very pleased with her being part of our family.
She is now very excited to see us each day and is
very playful and gentle.  I haven't had a female in
over 10 years I had forgotten the sweetness they offer
against a male.

Thank you again,
Merry Christmas
Sincerely,
Kathy

Christi,

Your Q litter from a year ago, January 7 2006, just turned one year old.  I wanted to let you know what an outstanding dog Quintus (Ammo) has turned out to be.  He has definitely obtained Superstar status.  I cant take him anywhere if I want to get anything done.  People seem gravitate to him.  His is such a well mannered dog in public, that he is constantly being approached by strangers and he takes them all in true German Shepherd fashion, fearless and patient.....which is saying ALOT for such a drivey dog.  We have graduated from our advanced training class and will now seek out a trainer to start his CGC, which will get us another step closer to getting his Pet Therapy license.

Thank you for such an beautiful, graceful, intelligent, fearless, and so full of life dog.  Ammo has become an irreplaceable part of our family.
